Tangelo Orthodontics is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Orthodontic Sterilization Technician to join our growing team. This role is essential to maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and patient care within our practice.
Key Responsibilities
Sterilization & Infection Control
- Perform sterilization procedures on instruments and equipment using appropriate methods, including autoclaving, chemical disinfection, and other approved techniques
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes, including dates, methods used, and equipment involved
- Conduct routine inspections of sterilized items to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Monitor and maintain sterilization equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Ensure operatories are fully stocked, clean, and ready for patient care
Patient Experience & Team Support
- Escort patients to and from treatment areas
- Create a warm, welcoming, and friendly experience for every patient
- Support the clinical team in delivering a patient-centered experience
- Assist with maintaining clinic flow in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to infection control standards
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical setting
- Positive attitude with strong teamwork skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior dental or orthodontic experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- Average 35–40 hours per week
