Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including site cleanup and material organization
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to perform tasks such as concrete mixing, cutting, pouring, and finishing
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction plans
- Install rebar, formwork, metal studs, and framing components for various structures
- Carry out concrete-related tasks including pouring, finishing, cutting, pumping, and stucco application
- Support masonry work, roofing installation, tile laying, flooring installation, and restoration projects
- Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment for all team members
Qualifications
- Proven experience working on construction projects or in a similar labor-intensive environment
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to construction tools and equipment operation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with concrete forming, concrete finishing, rebar installation, and concrete pumping techniques
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and heavy machinery operation
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and blueprint specification interpretation is a plus
- Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence in accordance with construction workplace safety regulations
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces as required
