A NYC construction company seeks qualified finish carpenters / foremen for ongoing high end residential renovation projects. Job responsibilities include:
- measuring materials, cutting/fitting/assembling/framing walls/partitions/flooring/ceilings/drywall according to plans
- installing kitchen/bathroom accessories/cabinetry according to plans/shop drawings
- installing doors, trim/moldings/specialty items
- troubleshooting / problem solving installation issues
- assisting others on site as required
Ability to read and build from plans and shop drawings preferred. Strong verbal, attention-to-detail and multi-tasking skills required. Supervisory skills required for small project teams.
Applicants must have pleasant demeanor, be well-mannered and able to work both independently and with others.
