We are seeking an Associate Attorney who is motivated to build a long-term career with a respected community law firm. This is an excellent opportunity for both newer attorneys seeking mentorship and experienced attorneys looking for a collaborative environment with meaningful client responsibility.
What You'll Do
As an Associate Attorney, you will:
- Represent clients in a variety of legal matters.
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda.
- Draft pleadings, contracts, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Appear in court, mediations, depositions, and administrative proceedings.
- Advise clients on legal strategy and practical solutions.
- Manage cases from initial consultation through resolution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and members of the community.
- Collaborate with experienced attorneys across multiple practice areas.
Practice Areas
Our attorneys handle a wide variety of legal matters, which may include:
- Civil litigation
- Business and commercial law

- Estate planning and probate
- Family law
- Personal injury
- Criminal defense
- Employment law
- Municipal and local government matters
- Other general legal services
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop experience across multiple practice areas while also building a specialty based on individual interests and firm needs.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in Tennessee or eligible for admission.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent oral advocacy and communication abilities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Commitment to professionalism, ethics, and outstanding client service.
