Job Overview
Our Client is hiring a Healthcare Finance Decision Support Manager to lead cost accounting, service line profitability analysis, and strategic financial planning. This is a high-visibility management role reporting directly on major capital and financial decisions, with oversight of the STRATA Jazz decision support system.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop financial feasibility, cost, and reimbursement models (ROI, NPV, IRR, payback period) using STRATA to evaluate capital projects
- Hold routine meetings with leadership to review service line profitability and drive performance improvement plans
- Complete survey and annual insurance renewal applications; compile data for FEMA/Single Audits and GME reporting
- Train managers and directors on productivity software; manage ad hoc reporting requests
- Generate reports for annual financial audits, cost report filings, and community benefit reporting
- Mentor the Decision Support Supervisor and Special Projects Analyst
- Provide oversight on software implementations (ERP, leasing software) and support the STRATA forecasting module rollout
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in cost accounting, budgeting, and/or decision support
- Experience with STRATA financial software or similar platform
- Prior healthcare industry experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Administration or Health Administration
- Financial and/or healthcare certifications
- Experience in hospital or healthcare contracting and reimbursement
- Familiarity with bundled payments and physician reimbursement models
