Responsibilities
- Lead on-site coordination of low voltage electrical projects, including system design implementation and blueprint interpretation
- Manage project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools to ensure timely completion
- Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and safety regulations
- Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure project milestones are met and issues are addressed proactively
- Review construction estimates, contracts, and change orders to maintain budget control and scope accuracy
- Utilize ProCore and Bluebeam for project documentation, tracking progress, and facilitating communication among stakeholders
- Conduct site inspections to verify quality standards, adherence to schematics, and proper installation practices
Skills
- Extensive electrical engineering knowledge combined with hands-on construction site experience in low voltage systems
- Proficiency in construction estimating, project scheduling (Primavera P6), and construction management software such as HeavyBid
- Strong understanding of system design principles, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and contract management
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated expertise in project coordination, construction management, and electrical experience on large-scale projects
- Familiarity with NEC codes, construction site safety protocols, and electrical system troubleshooting
- Ability to communicate clearly with diverse teams while maintaining a focus on project goals and deadlines
