Position Summary
voestalpine is seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior Maintenance/Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. This role will primarily work first shift but must be available to support off-shift maintenance issues, emergencies and operational needs when required.
The ideal candidate will bring strong mechanical aptitude, proven leadership experience and a proactive approach to preventative and predictive maintenance strategies. They would be comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing setting and capable of troubleshooting complex mechanical systems while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily maintenance operations for a 24/7 manufacturing facility
- Supervise, coach and develop maintenance technicians and support staff
- Ensure safe, efficient and reliable operation of all production equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic and electrical equipment performance
- Partner with production, engineering and operations teams to improve performance
- Manage capital expenditure, maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, projects, and capital equipment that is being brought into the plant
- Managing projects potentially required by OSHA
Qualifications
- 10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Previous experience in leadership or supervisory role
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair abilities
- Strong communication, organizational and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems
- Proven ability to improve equipment reliability and maintenance performance metrics
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
