Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that federal security contract services meet strict performance standards by conducting independent inspections, documenting non-conformances, and driving corrective action to verified closure. Your expertise will help uphold our commitment to delivering contract-required services in full conformance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), the approved Quality Control Plan, and applicable Performance Requirements Summary (PRS) standards.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute scheduled and unscheduled inspections across all shifts—including nights, weekends, and holidays—per the approved Quality Control Plan.
- Verify post performance against post orders, general orders, and applicable PWS spec items, inspecting access control, credentials, documentation, and emergency readiness.
- Identify, document, and classify non-conformances by severity and by the contract standard or PRS objective affected.
- Perform root cause analysis to distinguish individual performance failures from systemic program, training, or staffing deficiencies.
- Initiate and track Corrective Action Requests (CARs) and Preventive Action Requests (PARs), independently verifying effectiveness before closure.
- Prepare and issue recurring quality reporting—daily, weekly, monthly, and annual—including PRS performance, CAPA status, and trend analysis.
- Collaborate with production and management teams to implement corrective actions aligned with contract and regulatory standards.
Experience
- Minimum three (3) years of quality control, quality assurance, or compliance auditing experience, preferably within contract security or regulated services.
- Strong knowledge of federal service contract requirements, including PWS-based performance standards, PRS structures, and Government surveillance methods.
- Hands-on experience conducting inspections, audits, and root cause analysis using established analytical methods.
- Familiarity with quality systems including CAPA registers, deficiency logs, data collection methods, and documentation practices.
- Demonstrated ability to produce clear, factual, defensible written findings and formal reports suitable for a Government customer.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and web-based reporting and workforce management systems.
- U.S. citizenship required, with the ability to obtain and maintain installation access credentials and a valid driver's license.
Join as a Quality Control Specialist to play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of contract performance!
