Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest services to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen support to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity
- Uphold food safety standards by adhering to sanitation guidelines and proper food handling practices
- Support the team with general restaurant operations including stocking supplies and managing guest relations during peak hours
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability in customer service roles with excellent communication skills
- Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling is advantageous
- Prior host/hostess or serving experience will be considered a strong asset
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining a positive attitude
- Knowledge of food industry standards related to food preparation, upselling techniques, and guest relations
