Overview
We are seeking a passionate and talented Church Organist to enrich our worship service. (Possibility to play with our Praise Band if proficient in other instruments, not required)
Responsibilities
- Lead congregational singing by playing the church’s organ.
- Select appropriate hymns, psalms, and liturgical music that align with the church calendar and thematic focus of each service. (Currently will only need a prelude and two hymns)
- Opportunities to play at funerals, weddings, and special events first before it's offered to another musician.
- Proven experience performing religious music in a church or similar setting.
- Background in concert music performance with versatility across genres.
- Skilled in reading sheet music.
- Experience with acoustic treatment principles to optimize sound within worship spaces.
Pay: From $60.00 per day
