Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Construction Worker to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be actively involved in a variety of construction projects, contributing to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and renovation sites. Your hands-on expertise will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards. Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and setup of construction sites, including layout and organization of materials and tools
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as framing, concrete pouring, cutting, and finishing
- Install rebar and formwork for concrete structures following blueprints and technical drawings
- Execute concrete work including pouring, finishing, cutting, and pumping to achieve smooth surfaces and structural integrity
- Interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate implementation of project specifications
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for framing, masonry, roofing, stucco application, and restoration projects
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe environment for yourself and colleagues
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate heavy equipment and power tools effectively
- Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings
- Skilled in rebar installation, formwork construction, concrete finishing, and concrete cutting techniques
- Knowledge of various trades including carpentry (trim carpentry, framing), masonry, roofing, plastering, tile laying, flooring installation, metal stud framing, and welding
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper technique
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving on diverse construction projects
