Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems including, but not limited to, structured cabling systems, fiber optics, access control systems, CCTV systems, PA systems and electrical systems in commercial and Industrial enviroments.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to determine project requirements.
- Perform construction estimating for low voltage projects.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure proper functioning of low voltage systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions in low voltage systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge installing and troubleshooting of Cat6, Cat6A, Fiber Optics, Access Control and CCTV systems.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with project managers, clients, and team members.
