As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be the hero on the road, providing essential support to drivers in need. Your role will involve safely transporting vehicles, offering roadside assistance, and ensuring customer satisfaction with every interaction. You’ll leverage your automotive knowledge and driving skills to navigate various situations while maintaining a positive attitude.
What you’ll do
- Operate tow trucks and flatbed vehicles to transport disabled or damaged vehicles safely.
- Load and unload vehicles with precision while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving conflicts effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of services rendered, including vehicle condition reports.
- Conduct routine inspections of tow trucks to ensure mechanical reliability and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with dispatch to respond promptly to calls for assistance.
- Utilize conflict management skills to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
Basic qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Preferred qualifications
- Previous experience as a tow truck driver or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and repair processes.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
