About the Role:

The Human Resources Generalist delivers full-cycle HR support to ensure efficient daily operations within the facility. This role partners with leadership to execute HR processes, uphold policy compliance, and serve as a trusted resource for employees.
Minimum Qualifications:

Experience in HR or office administration, HS Diploma or GED required.

Familiarity with HRIS systems and benefits enrollment processes.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Responsibilities:
-
Assist in implementing open enrollment initiatives and support ongoing benefits administration
-
Support ADP/HRIS management, including accurate employee data entry, status changes, pay rate updates, and terminations
-
Partner with Payroll to ensure timekeeping accuracy, proper approvals, and correct benefit deductions

Oversee onboarding and new hire orientation processes to ensure consistent and compliant experience
-
Continuously improve orientation and ensuring role-specific training is fully integrated into onboarding
-
Partner with Operations/Plant Management to ensure onboarding reflects all safety requirements by role

Maintain up-to-date employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations

Support compliance efforts including I-9 tracking, audits, documentation management, and coordination related to FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and workers’ compensation

Assist in handling and reporting first reports of injury and partner with leadership on follow-up documentation

Conduct initial intake for employee relations concerns and partner with HR leadership on investigations and disciplinary actions

Coach supervisors on proper documentation and performance management practices

Assist with recruitment activities, including candidate communication and coordination with recruiting partners overseeing the ATS in ADP

Support retention initiatives by analyzing turnover trends and recommending process improvements

Support rollout and tracking of the Learn to Earn program, including participation documentation within ADP
-
Coordinate employee engagement, recognition, and appreciation initiatives to maintain strong morale and culture within the plant

Generate and analyze HR metrics such as turnover, attendance trends, and time-to-fill to support workforce planning
-
Coordinate uniform and employee resource logistics as needed
-
Provide support for general HR inquiries and administrative tasks
