Bon Secours Southside Freestanding Emergency Center is seeking a skilled Multi-Modality Technologist II (CT & X-Ray) to provide exceptional diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced emergency care environment. If you're experienced in both CT and X-Ray, enjoy working independently, and are committed to delivering outstanding patient care, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Do
- Perform high-quality CT and X-Ray imaging studies according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Obtain patient histories and verify orders using two patient identifiers.
- Perform venipuncture and administer contrast media as appropriate.
- Ensure patient safety through radiation protection and imaging best practices.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment while producing quality diagnostic images.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
Qualifications Required
- ARRT certification and registration.
- Competency in CT and X-Ray imaging.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Virginia licensure, as required.
- Ability to obtain additional modality certification within 12 months, if applicable.
Preferred
- Associate's Degree from an ARRT-accredited program.
- Minimum 1 year of imaging or healthcare experience.
- Experience with Epic EHR, PACS, RIS, and IV Contrast Administration.
