Minimum Qualifications (Required):

Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Current LPN, EMT, or paramedic
-
5+ years’ experience as a medical provider
Preferred Qualifications:
-
CPR and first aid
-
Ergonomics experience
-
Experience leading a health and wellness program, including worker’s compensation administration
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Able to communicate with all levels of employees, from upper management to hourly employees

Responsible for driving a consistent message throughout the organization
- Ability to do the right thing when no one is looking and strength to stand up when situations arise that put people or the environment at risk

Position will have access to medical records and must be able to keep confidential information secure

Knowledge of nursing practices (first aid, wound treatment, etc) and knowledge of physical training (stretching, work hardening, strength training)

Drives continuous improvement, knowing that even small improvements contribute to the success of the organization
Work Environment
This position operates in the office and in the plant. Most of the time the health assistant will be in an office/clinic setting. But the assistant will be called to the plant to assist in first aid and emergency situations. Assistant will also be involved in plant audits.

The employee will be subject to heat and to cold temperatures.
