About Us
White Management, Inc. is an established property management firm overseeing a portfolio of residential co-op and condominium buildings throughout Westchester County and the Bronx. We take pride in keeping our properties clean, safe, and well-maintained for the residents who call them home. We're looking for reliable, hands-on Maintenance Crew Workers to take on jobs across our properties.
Please note: This is per-job work — hours vary and are assigned as jobs come up rather than on a set weekly schedule. It's a great fit if you're looking for flexible, project-based work at a strong hourly rate.
What You'll Do
As a Maintenance Crew Worker, you'll help keep our buildings running smoothly and looking their best. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Performing routine maintenance and minor repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general handyman tasks)
- Responding to resident work orders and service requests in a timely, professional manner
- Maintaining the cleanliness of common areas, hallways, lobbies, basements, and grounds
- Handling trash and recycling removal and keeping refuse areas orderly
- Assisting with seasonal work, including snow removal and grounds upkeep
- Monitoring building systems and reporting larger issues to the property manager
- Supporting other members of the maintenance crew as needed
What We're Looking For
- Prior building maintenance, janitorial, porter, or handyman experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repair work
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as on a team
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, climbing stairs)
- Strong attention to detail and a resident-first attitude
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver's license needed
Pay
- $31.50 per hour
- Hours vary and are assigned per job — paid for hours worked on each assignment
