Join Our Maintenance Team
BleachTech is looking for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician to join our maintenance team.
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working with industrial electrical and instrumentation systems, and keeping critical plant equipment operating safely and reliably.
The E&I Technician installs, maintains, calibrates, troubleshoots, repairs, and tests electrical, instrumentation, controls, and automation equipment in a 24/7 industrial manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and instrumentation equipment and systems.
- Install, configure, commission, and maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Calibrate instrumentation and ensure equipment is operating accurately and reliably.
- Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, AC/DC drives, VFDs, controls, and automation systems.
- Work with PLC programming and ladder logic.
- Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems.
- Inspect and test transformers, transfer switches, switchgear, and other electrical components.
- Perform low- and medium-voltage electrical checks.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and manufacturer manuals.
- Support preventive maintenance programs and planned plant shutdowns.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Work with contractors and vendors as needed to support plant maintenance and reliability.What We're Looking For
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3–5 years of electrical and/or instrumentation maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or process environment.
- Hands-on knowledge of industrial electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Experience with PLC programming, controls, automation, AC/DC drives, and VFDs.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
- Familiarity with electrical codes, electrical safety, and Arc Flash requirements.
- Basic computer skills and experience with a CMMS or similar maintenance system.
Preferred:
- Technical degree, apprenticeship, or trade certification in Electrical Technology, Instrumentation, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
- Additional electrical or instrumentation certifications.
- Experience with ISO calibration procedures and high-voltage safety practices.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
