Duties
- Clear and clean tables efficiently, maintaining a pristine dining environment for guests
- Assist servers by bussing tables and delivering food promptly using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Handle food running duties by delivering dishes from the kitchen to guest tables with care and accuracy
- Support food safety and handling procedures during service and cleanup to ensure compliance with health standards
- Assist with light food preparation tasks and kitchen support as needed, following safe lifting practices during heavy lifting tasks
- Maintain cleanliness in all service areas including dining rooms, kitchens, and storage spaces through regular cleaning routines
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate guest service and ensure timely delivery of orders
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices
- Strong cleaning skills and attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards
- Excellent communication skills for in-person customer service and teamwork
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety, food handling, and basic food preparation practices is advantageous
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods throughout shifts
