Overview
Join our dynamic landscaping team as a Landscape Crew Leader and take charge of creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces! Your leadership will ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a crew in executing landscape maintenance, planting, hardscape installation projects.
- Coordinate daily tasks, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress to ensure timely project completion.
- Operate grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment safely and efficiently, including mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems, and hardscape tools.
- Identify plants, and weeds with an accurately to guide care or remove of weeds; perform basic horticultural tasks to promote healthy landscapes.
- Manage company vehicle operation for transportation of crew members and equipment on a trailer between job sites.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and hardscape construction.
- Strong supervising and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide crew members effectively.
- Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices, and grounds maintenance techniques.
- Experience with irrigation systems installation, troubleshooting, and management.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely; familiarity with grounds maintenance tools is essential.
- Construction experience related to outdoor projects such as patios, walkways, or retaining walls is highly desirable.
- Leadership qualities combined with excellent communication skills to coordinate tasks clearly and efficiently.
