Pay Rate: $55/hour
Traveler Compensation: Candidates residing 50+ miles from the assignment are eligible for $25/hour taxable pay plus $1,330/week in stipends.
We are seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to support students with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), Emotional Behavioral Disabilities (EBD), and Cognitive Disabilities (CD). The ideal candidate will be a collaborative educator committed to helping students achieve academic, social, and behavioral success while working closely with general education staff, student services teams, support staff, and families.

Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field

Valid Wisconsin Special Education License (or eligibility)

Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation

Ability to support students with diverse academic and behavioral needs

Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet individual student needs

Provide specialized instruction in both special education and general education settings

Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff

Assist in student evaluations and eligibility processes

Monitor student progress and prepare required documentation and reports

Support the implementation of behavior intervention strategies

Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team meetings

Supervise paraprofessionals and support staff as needed

Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment
