JOB SUMMARY:
The Front Office Assistant duties may include but are not limited to, greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling of patients, verifying insurance, chart preparation, collecting of co-pays and co-insurance under the general or direct supervision of the Director or the Front Office Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a current understanding of the Company’s business and policies.
- Ability to multi-task with an excellence in providing quality patient care.
- Follow directions and use sound judgment in performing job related functions.
- Answer phone by identifying facility and your name.
- Ability to screen calls and take messages unless the caller is returning a therapist’s call or if the call is an emergency. Put all calls from doctor thru to therapists.
- Communicate clearly and concisely with a respectful delivery.
- Able to organize time and set priorities appropriately, demonstrating flexibility.
- Establish rapport and work harmoniously with patients, families, professionals, co-workers and the public.
- Ability to uphold decisions of supervising therapists and take direction from supervisory personnel.
- Assume responsibility in carrying out assigned tasks.
- Demonstrate integrity and discretion in all job-related matters.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
