Buckingham Pavilion, located on Chicago's north side, is seeking RNs to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care to patients while adhering to compliance standards. This candidate should be able to recognize patients' needs and prioritize those needs with the needs outlined by physicians.
Job Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Engage in positive interactions with Residents, staff, visitors and family members
- Prioritize patients in an organized manner to ensure their care needs are met at all times.
- Develop and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, respect and positive emphasis, as well as a caring atmosphere, throughout the unit and shift through interactions with Residents, staff and family.
- Observe and practice all safety standards and protocols as set forth by facility and departmental policy and procedure, and/or safety committee as appropriate.
- Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
- Administer medications according to physicians orders.
- Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required.
- Perform routine charting duties as required and in accordance with established charting and documentation policies and procedures.
