Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential homes, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure safe and hygienic environments.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items with care.
- Clean floors thoroughly, utilizing floor care techniques suitable for different surfaces to preserve their condition.
- Use janitorial and cleaning equipment effectively, including vacuums, mops, buffers, and other tools necessary for efficient cleaning.
- Manage manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or appliances safely and responsibly.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific needs and provide excellent customer service during each visit.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in residential cleaning or custodial work is preferred; familiarity with janitorial procedures is a plus.
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care, and sanitation standards required for residential housekeeping.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while following proper manual handling techniques.
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks promptly without compromising quality.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs.
- Physical stamina for outdoor work experience or indoor cleaning tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning detergents and disinfectants along with adherence to safety protocols.

Pay: $24.65 - $29.68 per hour
