Job Description:
Full-time, year-round position responsible for providing strategic leadership, overall coordination, and operational management of the College's Corporate and Community Education (CCE) division, including workforce development, community education, customized training, apprenticeship programs, grants, employer partnerships, and workforce initiatives that support the College's mission and regional economic development.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works cooperatively with College personnel, employers, community leaders, economic development organizations, and business and industry partners in meeting the workforce training and community education needs of youth, adults, and seniors.

Schedules, supervises, and evaluates Corporate and Community Education classes and programs throughout the College's service district. Provides strategic oversight for workforce training, customized training, and community education initiatives, while ensuring Corporate and Community Education information, policies, procedures, and program guidance are communicated consistently to the Highlands, Hardee, DeSoto, and Lake Placid campuses on all CCE-related matters.

Continually seeks innovative solutions for training programs that continuously meets community needs in the College's service area. Participates in advisory meetings to ensure programs meet the demand of the workforce, while maintaining compliance and providing market customized training.

Recruits, schedules and verifies credentials of department instructors, provides documentation and required materials to appropriate college departments (i.e., Human Resources and Registration).

Plans, coordinates, markets, and supervises community education courses and programs, non-credit workforce programs, customized training, apprenticeship initiatives, workforce pathways, industry-recognized credentials, special events, online learning platforms, and third-party training contracts to meet the educational and workforce needs of the College's service district.

Supervises departmental budgetary revenues and expenditures and develops revenue-generating strategies to support sustainable program growth

Actively pursues program outreach, employer engagement, public speaking opportunities, and strategic partnerships while collaborating with Community Relations and Marketing Department to promote workforce and community education programs.

Participates in local, regional, and statewide workforce development, continuing education, and professional association meetings to remain current on emerging trends and best practices.

Supervises and strategically leads employees, adjunct instructors, apprenticeship personnel, and workforce training staff while fostering innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Assists students and businesses with available funding opportunities, workforce grants, and recruitment initiatives

Collaborates with the Grants Coordinator to develop grant proposals that support departmental priorities. Assists in the development, writing, implementation, monitoring, and administration of grant-funded initiatives while ensuring compliance, fiscal accountability, and achievement of required program outcomes.

Provides data, programmatic information, and required reports to CareerSource Heartland, state and federal agencies, grant partners, and other stakeholders. Collaborates in the implementation of Workforce Pell initiatives and grant-funded programs and ensures compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, reporting requirements, grant requirements, performance measures, and institutional reporting requirements for Corporate and Community Education programs.

Collaborates with the Community Relations and Marketing Department to develop and implement marketing, recruitment, and outreach strategies that promote Corporate and Community Education programs. Oversees the accuracy and timeliness of department websites, social media, digital communications, promotional materials, and course information to maximize enrollment, employer engagement, and community awareness.

Ensures program grades are entered for all non-credit courses by required deadline.

Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and reporting financial, enrollment, workforce, and performance data to support strategic planning and decision-making.

Develops efficient end-to-end strategies and procedures that improve overall department efficiencies including implementation of technology solutions, digital credentials, online registration, and process improvements.

Advises students from recruitment through enrollment, credential attainment, employment, and career advancement while promoting all Corporate and Community Education offerings.

Responsible for coordinating, documenting, and implementing all unit action planning, outcomes assessment, and institutional effectiveness efforts within the scope of administrative supervision.

Monitors and promotes progress toward meeting related college and departmental goals and objectives.

Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with employers, economic development organizations, CareerSource, government agencies, educational institutions, and community organizations to expand workforce education opportunities.

Leads the development and implementation of Workforce Pell initiatives for non-credit workforce programs, stackable credential pathways, and industry-recognized workforce programs that support regional workforce and economic development priorities.

Identifies emerging workforce trends and develops innovative education and training solutions that position the College to meet current and future workforce needs.

Acts as a Campus Security Authority (CSA)/responsible person for Title IX and Clery Act compliance. Must participate in all required CSA/responsible person training.

Acts in accordance with local, state, and federal laws/regulations as well as College policies and procedures.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Educational: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an institutionally accredited organization required. Extensive related experience (5+ years) may substitute for degree requirement. Demonstrated success in a community college environment preferred.
Experiential: At least three (3) years of experience working in Education or Community programs required. Excellent communication and program coordination skills required.
Other: Flexibility in work hour scheduling required. (Many CCE activities occur during evenings and weekends.)
