About the Company
Framework (thisisframework.com) is a leading Los Angeles-based independent dance music promoter and production company specializing in house and techno. Founded in 2013, the brand has shaped the Southern California underground scene by transforming unconventional spaces—like airport hangars and film soundstages—into immersive, large-scale events. Framework also owns and operates Hollywood’s acclaimed Sound Nightclub and the boutique venue The Spotlight, bringing world-class curation to custom-built nightlife experiences. We are looking for a disciplined, detail-oriented Junior Accounting Clerk to join our internal finance team to provide essential support for our venues and large-scale event projects.
The Role
This is a junior-level position within a fast-paced accounting department. You will be responsible for the daily administrative and financial tasks that keep our hospitality and event operations running smoothly. While our events occur late at night and over weekends, this role provides the critical daytime support needed to reconcile revenue, manage vendor payments, and protect company assets.

- High-volume processing, coding, and entry of invoices for specific venues and event projects.
- Reconcile vendor statements and manage organized digital filing for all financial records.
- Assist in tracking and collecting payments from corporate partners and VIP clients.
2. Revenue Reconciliation & Protection
- Reconcile daily deposits from venue operations and ticket sales against bank statements.
- Chargeback Management: Assist the investigation and documentation gathering for customer chargeback disputes; assist the manager in drafting rebuttals to successfully refute fraudulent claims.
- Assist with reconciling deposits from third-party reservation and ticketing platforms.
3. General Ledger Support
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Reconcile payroll reports to the General Ledger (verifying data accuracy without processing the payroll itself).
- Assist the team with month-end closing procedures and tax compliance maintenance (W9/1099 records).
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Software: Experience in QuickBooks is highly preferred. Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) are essential.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience. We welcome entry-level candidates with a demonstrated interest in accounting via internships or relevant coursework.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to remain highly organized and spot discrepancies in high-volume data sets.
- Discretion: Must handle sensitive financial data and talent contracts with absolute confidentiality.

- Fully Company-Paid Benefits: Employer-covered Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.
