What You’ll Do
As a Residential Energy Rater, you’ll play a key role in improving the efficiency and performance of newly constructed homes across Michigan.
- Conduct onsite energy testing and inspections on new homes
- Perform blower door and duct leakage testing
- Analyze home performance using specialized software
- Work closely with builders, contractors, and project managers
- Help ensure homes meet energy codes and performance standards
- Provide insights that help improve construction quality and efficiency

Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Willingness to travel to job sites throughout Michigan
- Ability to travel to our Valparaiso, Indiana office for training and occasional meetings
