Duties
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and attention to detail
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
- Manage multiple tables effectively through excellent time management skills during busy hours
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including bussing tables and assisting with food handling procedures
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
- Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and order processing
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and guest services
- Culinary experience or background in food preparation is highly desirable
- Ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume service periods
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers
- Basic math skills for accurate check splitting, cash handling, and sales upselling
