This job opening is for a short term local superintendent position for the time period of mid-June to early September. After the short term project, there is an opportunity for this role to turn into a traveling superintendent position which requires being outside of Asheville across multiple states.
- Daily review of compliance with the plans and perform quality control reviews of subcontractors’ work.
- Review, understand, and enforce schedule obligations.
- Daily coordination of multiple tasks/trades simultaneously and identification of conflicts of work conditions.
- Maintain daily log, track and report construction activity on the jobsite.
- Timely identification of potential change order and/or gaps in scopes of work.
- Receive, inspect, and verify material deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Ensure jobsite is kept clean and organized.
- Enforce OSHA and Company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:
- Work Location: In person
- 5 plus years of construction experience; multiple divisions are preferred.
- Ability to read drawings, specifications, and renderings.
- Must be available via phone and/or e-mail for extended work hours, including weekends.
- Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally.
