Capital Xtreme Fabrication, Inc. is a local metal fabrication company working in the fields of manufacturing and construction seeking a detail-oriented draftsperson to develop 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD Inventor. As the draft person you will be responsible for drafting approval, fabrication, and instillation drawings for ornamental steel, structural steel, and metal manufacturing. As the draftsperson you’ll work professionally with project managers, engineers, and architects to obtain and submit RFI’s as needed to obtain missing and accurate information. You’ll work internally with our team to supply material lists, perform project review, and will be required to assist fabricator and installers as needed should they need clarification or assistance pertaining to your drawings. To be successful in this position you will need to be organized, detail-oriented, work efficiently and have excellent time management.
Other Required Skills:
- 3 years minimum drafting experience
- Proficient with AutoCAD Inventor
- Proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Word Excel
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to prepare approval drawings off of non-detail, plan drawings from either architectural or structural prints
- Ability to conduct all layouts and measuring necessary for all job aspects including but not limited to: angles, lengths, width, slopes, degrees, etc.
- Ability to create approval, fabrication, and instillation drawings
- Has an understanding of metal fabrication & Installation
- Knowledge of City and State code requirements for residential and commercial properties
- Ability to communicate professionally and request missing information from Architects, Project Managers, and Engineers as it pertains to drawings
- Ability to provide the most cost-effective and labor efficient designs
- Ability to generate material lists including steel, metals, and all fasteners
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
