We have an immediate opening for an General Manager on our operations team.
The Position: General Manager
The role of the General Manager is to oversee the business in every aspect through a team of functional managers in all areas of operations. This includes general management of operations, employees, and guest experience. General Managers must have the ability to work in all departments upon being trained, and are expected to work on the floor during peak hours of operations and closes at least one night a week, preferably Saturdays. Must possess leadership, management, organization, communications, and people-skills.
General Manager Duties:

Oversees execution and accuracy of biweekly payroll for hourly employees.

Creates operational and narrative weekly reports, submits to owners and posts on SharePoint.

Investigates daily cash variance.

Submits operational monthly reports, submits to owners and posts on SharePoint.

Reviews customer relations reports, creates and executes systems for improvement.

Ensures Department Mangers keep liquor book and kitchen recipe books up to date.

Conducts quarterly performance reviews for all location managers.

Ensures all managers conduct quarterly performance reviews of all departmental employees.

Oversees incident reporting.

Ensures that business, health and liquor licenses are up to date and organizes training for renewals.
- Responsible for entire cash handling for the location, including change orders and deposits.

Presence on floor managing and coaching staff on a daily basis, and during weekend primes.
- Oversees the process of (FOH) food and beverage inventory, ensuring department managers are ordering for adequate supply, entering proper GL codes, and monitoring for potential theft.

Ensures Department Managers issue weekly inventory reports to ownership.

Track business expenses of: Invoices, labor, sales, utilities, maintenance; and ensure efficiency in operational costs (payroll, inventory, billing) in order to support and increase profitability of theatre.
- Ensure quality is maintained in all areas including guest service, food and beverage, and building cleanliness.

Ensure maintenance needs are addressed.

Maintains company culture of high employee morale and guest satisfaction, while ensuring safety of both employee and guests.

Oversees a consistent practice of recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training of entire staff, ensuring quality hiring takes place and effective training is implemented and completed.
- Coach all house, floor and department managers and hold them accountable for culture, organization, maintenance, labor scheduling and all other responsibilities.
- Monthly building walk-throughs (reviewing licensing, ensuring safety walk-throughs are done, noting maintenance needs, etc.) and ensuring critical life / safety inspections are done.

Ensures daily checklists are completed.
Must have the following qualifications

At least 3 years of department or floor management experience at RHC or similar business.

Title 4 and Food Handlers card

Knowledge of filing and record keeping practices and procedures.

Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software, G suite, word processing, email and spreadsheet applications.

Ability to positively communicate and instruct team members, offering assistance in areas where they lack knowledge, skills or experience.

Ability to balance the concepts of teamwork, guest service, and profitability.
- Must be able to work any shift, weekends, holidays and special events as needed.
