Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and maintain a friendly, professional demeanor throughout their visit
- Handle retail sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Assist guests with product demos and provide knowledgeable recommendations to enhance their experience
- Promote upselling opportunities by informing guests about additional products or services that meet their needs
- Manage merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the sales floor is inviting and well-maintained
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments
- Support supervising staff during busy periods and assist in training new team members on customer service protocols
Experience
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience is preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail math for cash handling and transactions
- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages (bilingual skills) is highly valued
- Experience conducting product demos and upselling techniques to enhance sales performance
- Strong organizational skills for merchandising, stocking, and maintaining a clean environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle phone inquiries professionally
