Location: Mount Carmel Senior Living Community – Mount Carmel, PA
Schedule: Consistent PRN (Full-time opportunities may become available in the future.)
Mount Carmel Senior Living Community is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehabilitation team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping residents improve mobility, restore function, and enhance their quality of life in a supportive, resident-centered environment. We are currently offering a consistent PRN schedule, with the potential for a full-time position in the future.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to support rehabilitation goals
- Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
- Educate residents and families on therapeutic exercises and mobility strategies
Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Current BLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care settings preferred
