Duties
- Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a clean and organized dining area
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly from the kitchen to guests’ tables
- Support kitchen staff with basic food handling, preparation, and safe lifting practices when needed
- Ensure all dining areas are kept tidy through regular cleaning and bussing activities
- Handle guest requests courteously, providing excellent in-person customer service and communication
- Use POS systems such as Toast POS to process orders or assist with guest transactions when required
- Follow food safety standards during food running, serving, and cleaning tasks to uphold hygiene protocols
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and basic food preparation techniques
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices (Can lift 50lbs+ comfortably)
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Experience with POS systems such as Toast POS is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
