What You’ll Do:
- Repair, install, replace, test, and fix thewater, air, medical gas, supply steam systems traps etc.
- Knowledge of steam piping and components
- Install new water systems, piping, and fixturesby blueprints, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
- Ensure waste and vent lines are in goodoperating condition using a plumber’s snake, vacuum plunger, or jet washer anddrain camera.
- Assist other staff members or contractors onprojects or equipment installations.
- Complete plumbing safety inspections on backflowdevices.
- Provide training to other staff members so theycan perform light plumbing maintenance and repair.
- Perform general maintenance and building systemsoperational duties as assigned or directed.
- Respond to emergency situations, summoning extrahelp as needed.
- Follow all activity policies and procedures,always including all HSE-related requirements.
- Finish the HSE programs & activities asrequired, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing, andassessment, etc.
- Report any conditions that could result in anaccident or injury to management.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment,adhering to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Conduct routine inspections and calibrations ofequipment to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) andGood Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
What You’ll Need
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade schooldiploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, acombination of experience and education will be considered.
- Plumbing certification at the Journeyman levelrequired. Medical Gas certification and Backflow certification preferred. ValidDriver’s License required.
- Meet the physical requirements of this roleincluding stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the abilityto lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to exercise judgment based on theanalysis of multiple sources of information.
- Willingness to take a new perspective onexisting solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Organizational skills with an advancedinquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum hourly rate for the Pipefitter position is $40 and the maximum hourly rate is for the Pipefitter position is $50.48 an hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
