REPORTS TO: Supply Chain Manager
1.0 POSITION SUMMARY:
Habco Industries is a key provider of tools, ground and test support equipment that serves the Aerospace Industry; both fixed and rotary winged aircraft. Our customers range from the largest aerospace OEMs in the world, to end users of the aircraft, both commercial and military applications. The Service Operations Coordinator is an early-career operational professional responsible for supporting the execution of service and calibration activities through coordination, communication, workflow management, and hands-on operational support. The Service Operations Coordinator works closely with the Supply Chain Manager and cross-functional teams to learn the business, develop operational expertise, and contribute to meeting customer commitments.
The position will facilitate the administrative and operational coordination of service and calibration orders from quote acceptance through shipment, ensuring all required actions are completed by the appropriate departments and customer commitments are achieved. At times, the incumbent for this role will be required to participate and conduct the work activities in order to meet volume increases and customer demand.
2.0 PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
- Support the execution of service and calibration activities from customer order receipt through final delivery.
- Monitor service workflows and manage coordination activities across Service, Quality, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Shipping & Receiving.
- Monitor job progression and proactively resolve delays, bottlenecks, material shortages and workflow disruptions impacting customer commitments.
- Maintain accurate job status information within Epicor.
- Assist in identifying and escalating delays, material shortages, documentation issues, or workflow constraints.
- Support communication regarding customer delivery commitments and order status.
- Assist with inventory transactions, cycle counts, inventory audits, and material movement activities.
- Support receiving, material staging, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Generate shipping documentation and assist with shipment preparation activities.
- Participate in specialized packaging and crating activities for customer equipment and aerospace products when necessary.
- Support documentation traceability and compliance requirements.
- Develop working knowledge of aerospace manufacturing, service operations, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
- Gain proficiency in Epicor and operational workflow management.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and operational planning activities.
- Build cross-functional relationships and understanding of end-to-end customer fulfillment processes.
- All other duties assigned or required.
3.0 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant operational experience preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in service coordination, manufacturing operations, aerospace support, customer operations, or related operational environments
- Inventory, material management or shipping experience preferred.
- Experience working within ERP systems, preferably Epicor
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through

4.0 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Aerospace, manufacturing, calibration, repair station, or technical service environment experience
- Exposure to SIOP, Lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement environments
- Familiarity with customer quoting, procurement coordination, production floor workflows and operational scheduling processes

Pay: $31.00 - $38.50 per hour
