Confirm port mappings, cable paths, device connectivity, labeling, and material requirements.
Partner with engineering teams and LVVs to identify and correct cut-sheet errors before installation.
Inspect completed fit-out work and confirm compliance with design, installation, and quality standards.
Analyze cabling-validation errors and distinguish design, installation, material, configuration, and data-quality issues.
Lead root-cause analysis for recurring defects, rework, and validation failures.
Coach validators and LVV technicians on cabling standards, fiber handling, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting.
Establish consistent validation procedures, checklists, acceptance criteria, and escalation paths.
Improve first-pass quality and reduce rework by identifying systemic issues and implementing corrective actions.
Provide clear readiness, risk, and quality reporting to program and executive leadership.
Work closely with automation teams to improve cut-sheet generation and error-detection capabilities.
10+ years of experience in data center cabling, network infrastructure, structured cabling, or Layer 1 operations.
Deep understanding of fiber-optic and copper cabling, including installation, routing, labeling, cleaning, testing, and troubleshooting.
Demonstrated experience interpreting and validating cut sheets, port maps, rack elevations, cable schedules, and network designs.
Experience validating large-scale data center fit-outs and identifying workmanship or design defects.
Strong knowledge of optical testing, polarity, loss budgets, link validation, and common failure signatures.
Experience leading vendors, technicians, validators, or field-engineering teams.
Strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to translate complex technical findings into clear actions for engineering, operations, and leadership teams.
Willingness to work onsite and travel between data center locations as required.
