Job Summary
Looking for 10-15 new 1099 contractors to join a dynamic team as a Delivery Associate and become the vital link between ACE Holdings and our valued customers! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages, ensuring timely arrivals, and providing exceptional customer service. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help us build trust and satisfaction with every delivery.
Duties
- Safely operate COMPANY PROVIDED delivery cargo van, following all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Load, unload, and organize packages
- Utilize smart phone and company provided tech for efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and ensure on-time deliveries
- Interact professionally with customers during drop-offs, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns
- Load and secure packages properly to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain professional appearance and vehicle inspection reports
Preferred Skills
- Proven experience in delivery driving or courier roles with a strong focus on route driving efficiency
- Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate cargo van
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, moving, loading/unloading cargo
- Familiarity with driving regulations for courier services
Requirements
- 21 years of age or older
- Ability to pass 5 panel drug test
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to lift up to 50lb packages
