Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse – Cath Lab RN:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Prepare and assess patients before, during, and after diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient responses throughout procedures
- Administer medications and IV therapies in line with clinical protocols and physician instructions
- Assist physicians and the wider clinical team during cardiac catheterization procedures
- Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and clinical documentation
- Educate patients and families on procedures, treatment plans, recovery, and ongoing care needs
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
Requirements for the Travel Nurse – Cath Lab RN:
- Active California (CA) Registered Nurse (RN) License
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab nursing experience
