DDS Dental Marysville is a private general dental practice seeking to employ a dental assistant with experience to add to our team.
At DDS Dental, we provide very broad scope of treatment for our patients. Implant placement, Sinus lift, Bone grafting, Extraction of impacted molars, Orthodontics, 3D printing and many other procedures.
We are looking for staff who is motivated to learn new procedures and passionate about helping patients. Our doctors enjoy helping assistants expand their skills and encourage them to become a integral part of patient care. Pay for this position per hour will vary depending on skill level.

Duties:
- Assist the dentist and hygienist with all aspects of patient care, including preparing treatment rooms and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Participate in four-handed dentistry to ensure efficient and precise care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including medical coding and vital signs.
- Assist with X-rays and other diagnostic procedures.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of dental anatomy and terminology.
- Work closely with the dental receptionist to manage patient flow and communicate with patients.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times and adhere to confidentiality guidelines.
- Perform tasks related to medical terminology and dental procedures.
- Develop strong relationships with patients and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
- Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience.
- Ability to assist with X-rays and other diagnostic procedures.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy.
- Experience with HIPAA compliance.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Active Dental assisting License
