The Operator 2, CNC is responsible for efficiently operating and optimizing CNC machinery, ensuring high-quality production and adherence to safety standards. This role involves advanced troubleshooting, setup, and programming to improve machine performance and product quality. Operate and optimize CNC machinery to ensure efficient performance, precise machining, and adherence to production schedules, while maintaining strict safety standards
Perform in-depth quality control inspections to verify that all produced items meet required specifications, addressing any discrepancies promptly to prevent defects
Troubleshoot and perform intermediate adjustments to machinery, identifying and resolving mechanical issues to minimize downtime and keep production running smoothly
Read, interpret, and analyze complex blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate setup and machining
Use advanced measuring instruments such as digital micrometers, calipers, and height gauges to verify dimensions
Assist in the setup, programming, and calibration of CNC machines as needed
Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on CNC machinery, ensuring operational efficiency and extending equipment lifespan
