Location: Uptown Chicago

Specifications: This role oversees 2 Class Multifamily Buildings (84 & 176 units).

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Emergency coverage: on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies

Compensation: $20 - $24/hr + Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with employer match, and paid time off (PTO).
Key Responsibilities-
Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner.

Perform routine repairs including plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and appliance troubleshooting.

Assist with HVAC maintenance and basic diagnostics.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance shop, common areas, storage areas.

Conduct preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.

Support unit turns, including, fixture replacement.

Assist with groundskeeping and snow removal as needed.

Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
Requirements

General maintenance experience in residential or multifamily housing.

Basic working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.

Ability to use hand and power tools safely.

Strong troubleshooting skills.

Good customer service and communication skills.

Availability to participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.

Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks.

Knowledge of building safety standards and local housing codes.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
