Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Carpenter Foreman to lead and oversee construction projects on-site, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. As a key leader in our construction team, you will coordinate crews, interpret technical drawings, manage schedules, and uphold safety regulations. Your expertise will drive project success from start to finish, fostering collaboration among teams and maintaining strict adherence to project specifications and deadlines. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise carpentry crews on construction sites, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specifications
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction documents to guide project execution
- Coordinate construction schedules using management software such as Procore, BIM 360 Field to meet project timelines.
- Review construction drawings for accuracy and clarity; communicate any discrepancies or issues promptly
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and adherence to contracts
- Enforce OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all team members
- Conduct quality control inspections and oversee the implementation of construction safety management practices
- Manage teams effectively by providing clear managerial communication, supervising daily activities, and fostering teamwork
- Oversee construction schedule coordination across multiple trades to keep projects on track and within scope
Requirements
- Proven experience in heavy commercial or industrial construction environments with a strong background in carpentry supervision
- Demonstrated ability managing teams in a construction management role with excellent crew management skills
- Strong understanding of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety protocols
- Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting schematics, technical drawings, and construction schedules
- Experience with managing contracts, project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control processes
- Familiarity with construction site safety practices such as OHMMeter use for electrical testing and adherence to OSHA regulations
- Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to supervise multiple teams effectively on complex projects

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
