Tree Ground Crew Operator
Starting Compensation rate dependent upon experience: $20.00 to $35.00/hr.
Requirements:

Required Experience: 1-3 yrs. in tree ground crew operations
-
Must be highly motivated & have a positive attitude.

Must be able to safely operate a chain saw
-
Must be able to maintain and care for tree removal tools and equipment
-
Must know proper pruning techniques using chain saws, pole saws, pole pruners, and loppers
-
Must have skills to assist the climber in removal and lower trees safely
-
Must be able to safely operate a chipper
-
Must be able to safely operate a stump grinder
-
Can load and unload trucks with brush, debris, and landscaping materials
-
Must be able to operate a skids steer and tractor
-
Must know how to safely remove trees using cranes and be able to coordinate tree removal operations with crane operators, climbers, and ground crew

Ability to safely and efficiently operate bucket truck a plus but not mandatory.

Driver license required

Must be able to hook up to trailers, tow and back up trailers

Year round 40+ hrs. per week,

Must have reliable transportation, and a good driving record.

Must be physically fit

Must be able to routinely lift 50 – 80 lbs.

Must be able and willing to work outdoors year-round in both hot and cold conditions
-
Pre-employment DOT physical and drug test required.
