Front Desk Receptionist – Holiday Inn Express

Holiday Inn Express is looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you'll create memorable first impressions by delivering exceptional service from check-in through check-out.

Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a warm, professional, and friendly attitude.
- Perform guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
- Answer phone calls, make reservations, and respond to guest inquiries.
- Assist guests with room requests, hotel amenities, local attractions, and directions.
- Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
- Process payments, maintain accurate guest accounts, and balance cash transactions.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest rooms are ready and guest requests are fulfilled.
- Promote the IHG One Rewards program and hotel services when appropriate.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area.
- Follow all hotel policies, brand standards, and safety procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred.
- Experience with hotel property management systems (Hotel Key experience is a plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Basic computer and cash-handling skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
Schedule
B Shift and Weekend Morning Shifts available
Weekend and holiday availability is required.
