MRI Tech - Nights
GHR Healthcare is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist for a full-time contract in Lancaster, PA.
This is a 13-week contract with the option to extend.
Schedule:
- Friday/Saturday/Sunday
- 7pm-730am
Responsibilities:
- Performs and assists with MRI examinations and procedures under the direction of a Radiologist to produce exams which are used in medical diagnosis to locate injuries, foreign bodies, pathological conditions, or lesions within the body.
- Follows established policies, procedures, exam protocols and regulations to promote patient safety and ensure a safe working environment in both modalities.
- Provides services to support inpatient, ED and outpatient imaging with ability to perform specialty imaging procedures (abnormal anatomy, congenital cardiac, and fetal imaging).
- Works in conjunction with the Sedation and Anesthesia departments to facilitate and ensure timely placement of add-on/ stat/urgent examinations.
- Assures customer satisfaction (interdepartmental, community and patient/family) with services.
- Evaluates MRI images for technical quality.
- Maintains and monitors MRI zoning to ensure safety for staff and patient
Travel Pay: $2756/week
Local Pay: $70-$73 per hour
