We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide supportive, personalized care for a young adult with autism in <LOCATION> city, ZIP code 95991 in the community and at home. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, energetic, and experienced in supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
Responsibilities include:
- Community integration and social engagement
- Personal care support as needed
- Keeping him engaged in meaningful and enjoyable activities
- Providing companionship and supervision
- Encouraging independence and participation in daily routines
Requirements:
- Prior experience working with individuals with autism is required
- Must be dependable, patient, and proactive
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable supporting behavioral and sensory needs when needed
- Livescan/background clearance required
Schedule & Pay
- $25–30 per hour depending on experience
- Payment will be made biweekly through an FMS agency
