Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tile Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately installing a variety of tile surfaces, including floors, walls, and backsplashes, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in tile laying, flooring installation, and related construction skills, with a passion for transforming spaces through precise and durable work. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by measuring, cutting, and leveling substrates to ensure proper tile adhesion and alignment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed plans to execute tile layouts accurately.
- Install various types of tiles using hand tools and power tools, ensuring secure placement and aesthetic consistency.
- Perform flooring installation tasks, including subfloor preparation, underlayment application, and finishing touches.
- Apply caulking, grout, and sealants to create clean joints and prevent water damage or deterioration.
- Conduct restoration work on damaged surfaces involving water damage restoration or floor care maintenance.
- Assist with fixture installation such as cabinets, trims, or other architectural elements as needed for remodeling projects.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation within the construction or restoration industry.
- Hands-on experience with tile laying, flooring installation, caulking, trim carpentry, and cabinet installation.
- Familiarity with water damage restoration techniques and floor care procedures.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as trowels, levels, saws, drills, and buffing equipment for precise work.
- Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and ability to work effectively on various construction sites with diverse teams.
- Prior handyman experience or construction painting background is a plus to support versatile project needs.

Pay: $26.70 - $32.15 per hour
