What You'll Be Doing
- Helping clients with daily routines like bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Providing companionship and genuine emotional support
- Engaging clients—including those with dementia or physical/developmental disabilities—in meaningful activities
- Light housekeeping - organizing, dishes, dusting, sweeping, mopping, etc.
- Meals - preparing, cooking and cleanup
- Keeping an eye out for changes in a client's health or behavior and reporting them
What We're Looking For
- Part-time availability
- A valid driver's license with reliable, insured transportation (you'll travel within the Roanoke area to client homes, appointments, and occasional office visits for interviews, orientation, and meetings)
- Ability to pass a background check (no barrier crimes)
