Restaurant Manager

Scope & General Purpose
Support all facets of daily operations while creating great guest experiences, leading and coaching staff, overseeing beverage menus, and upholding all procedures related to music, entertainment, and nightlife.
- Reports to: General Manager
- Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week, including nights & weekends
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily Front of the House (FOH) and Back of the House (BOH) restaurant operations, including the Supper Club, providing leadership and supervision to all team members.
- Support the recruitment and hiring of FOH employees, seeking personable, talented individuals who will add to our brand and culture.
- Train new and current employees on steps of service and best guest relations practices, taking special interest in detail-oriented work that creates great guest experiences.
- During service, ensure all FOH staff are delivering superior service. Be present at the front door and tableside, and communicate efficiently with BOH team members.
- Respond efficiently and accurately to guest feedback and complaints, both in person and digitally.
- Regularly review the restaurant's product (food, beverage, service, facility) and seek to innovate, improve, and maximize consistency.
- Follow all HR best practices connected to hiring, training, development, discipline, and termination.
- Impact staff performance by offering coaching and feedback to improve productivity and support professional growth.
- Contribute to the monthly inventory of all goods, kitchen utensils, and cleaning products, ordering supplies smartly when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all health, sanitation, and safety regulations on a daily, weekly, and annual basis.
- Represent the restaurant in the local community through guest relationships, restaurant events, and promotional opportunities.
- Handle other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Proven work experience in hospitality and/or restaurant management.
- Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform guests and service staff.
- Prior wine knowledge and experience is highly preferred (a strong plus).
- Strong leadership, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be comfortable standing and walking for up to 8 hours, and be able to bend, push, pull, and/or lift up to 30 lbs.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
